I honestly couldn’t recommend Evangelista Decor any more highly. Ant recently redecorated our bathroom which was suffering from moisture damage and general wear and tear. Ant went to every effort when it came to selecting the best paint for the job, and showed the same attention to detail when preparing the walls, ready for the repaint. We couldn’t be happier with the results - immaculate finish! Thanks Ant. We’ve already pencilled him in for the next room that needs a facelift!

I used Evangelista Decor to fully strip back old wall paper and paint in our lounge, and then fully paint and decorate the whole room including walls, ceiling, door and door frame and all woodwork including windowsill, skirting and picture rail.
The quality of work and attention to detail is absolutely fantastic and we are thrilled with the outcome. Ant is very responsive and professional throughout the whole process and made it as stress free for us as possible.
In future I personally wouldn’t consider going anywhere else other than to Ant for similar painting and decorating work. I couldn’t rate highly enough. I also felt the value for money was excellent - we were charged a day rate for labour but Ant worked significantly longer hours than he had quoted for in order to do the job to the highest standard - extremely professional indeed.

We’ve recently used Anthony to paint our whole house and couldn’t be happier with the end result.
No two rooms were the same for Anthony -some needed stripping back old wall paper (including a super tall stairwell wall) and some needed 3x coats of paint, but whatever needed doing - he tackled it and did a fantastic job!
Anthony’s professionalism and attention to detail is unreal and his cheery nature really helped at what could of have been a stressful time!
His work is to the highest standard and everyone that has visited has commented on the quality of his work.
We really couldn’t be happier with Anthony’s work and would most definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a friendly, reliable painter and decorator!

We used Evangelista decor previously and because of the high quality work and attention to detail we only wanted Ant to do the work on the rest of our house. This time it was for one of the spare bedrooms which was in need of work, due to years of poor quality wall paper/paint. We also had an electric heater in the chimney breast and a built in wardrobe removed when we first moved in which had left uneven plaster and holes on the wall. We also decided we didn’t want the picture rail that was in the room.
As usual, Ant delivered high quality work and fantastic attention to detail and has completely transformed the room. He didn’t cut any corners, communicated with us very well and worked long hours, and was highly professional throughout.

Antony did an amazing and really thorough job painting the exterior of our Victorian house in Hove. He’s always on time, and super reliable. He was extremely skilled and helpful in repairing woodwork. The end result is absolutely beautiful.

Anthony literally transferred our sad, tired cottage that had been rented for years, back into a beautiful, fresh, happy home!
No crack or wonky wall was too much for Anthony - he had a solution for everything and did the most amazing job!
We cannot fault Anthony’s professionalism, technical knowledge, can-do attitude or his finish!!
We wouldn’t hesitate to use Anthony again and highly recommend him - even his singing was pretty good :)

He was not just our decorator; I felt him like family, caring about our new home, making thoughtful recommendations, and helping us with extra things that we were unsure about. I booked Anthony of Evangelista decor to paint my hallway and living room.
I stripped the wall paper in my hallway myself to save a bit of time. When Ant arrived he advised that the hallway should be lined with lining paper to get the finish I desired. So glad we did the lining paper as the finish is flawless. I did a colour change from Orange to a Dark teal blue in my living room, what a transformation. Ant took his time, worked extremely hard. Arrived on time everyday. The results speak for themselves. I have re-booked him to paint my 3 bedrooms. If you want your house painted I would not hesitate in recommending Evangelsta Decor. Anthony was recommended by a friend and for good reason. Anthony came around and quoted for the job, identifying a couple of problems that I hadn't noticed and then came up with good solutions. We've the best looking house in our street, thanks to Evangelista Decor. Friendly and personable, they're more than just an excellent painter, they're a transformation artist. They take immense pride in what they do and provide an excellent standard of service and work. What's more, they're incredibly thorough. Even before a tin of paint was opened, they painstakingly cleaned all the walls and repaired masonry where needed. On wooden areas, they removed any old, flaky paint and smoothed down the surfaces. They repaired damaged parts, washed mouldy areas with an anti-fungicide, and made sure it was all dusted down before priming and finally painting. I initially just wanted him to paint a little of the downstairs but as he was so good I got him to do lots of repair and paint work that was very much needed.
